SALT AND PEPPER GRINDERS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

(1) Open the upper part of the grinder mechanism, by turning it counterclockwise, in accordance with the lock/unlock marks on the upper cover. Place six AAA batteries inside the engine, according to polarity.

(2) Connect the upper part of the engine mechanism to the bottom transparent spices container, as indicated by the arrows. Two protruding pins on the upper part of the engine are to be connected with contacts on the base - this will cause the lamp to glow when the grinder is working.

(3) Mount the upper mechanism back onto the transparent container and turn clockwise to close and lock the grinder.

(4) The grinder will work best if filled with pepper or salt up to as much as 80%.

(5) The burr grinder controller, which is located at the underside of the base, is used to adjust the desired grind level. Turning it clockwise makes the grinding finer, for more coarse grinding it should be turned counterclockwise. Select your own settings to suit your needs.

(6) When pressing the top button, the grinding engine starts running.

(7) If the grinder gets stuck during operation, gently shake it, because a piece of spices may become blocked between the burrs. Care must be taken to ensure that no small stone is brought into the grinder with the spices, which will certainly damage the ceramic burrs; such complaints are not considered.
